Job Opportunity: APARDO Program Manager





The Asia Pacific Alliance of Rare Disease Organisations (APARDO) is a not-for-profit organization that provides a patient advocacy-led alliance of rare disease stakeholders from Asia Pacific region. Working with rare disease organisations and communities, our mission is to work with and bring together stakeholders collaboratively to advocate for better outcomes and quality of life for patients and their care-givers. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in the planning, development, and execution of APARDO’s programs. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring

successful implementation, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program objectives.



RESPONSIBILITES

📝 Program Planning and Development

a. Develop and implement program strategies aligned with APARDO’s mission and goals.

b. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify program needs and opportunities for improvement.

c. Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.


📋 Project Management

a. Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

b. Monitor and evaluate program progress, identifying and addressing any challenges or obstacles.

c. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve program goals effectively.


🤝 Stakeholder Collaborations

a. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders,

including partner organizations, donors, and community members.

b. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and understanding of program objectives

and outcomes.


💰 Resource Manangement

a. Manage program budgets, allocating resources efficiently and responsibly.

b. Work with the fundraising team to secure additional funding for program expansion and

sustainability.


📝 Monitoring and Evaluation

a. Develop and implement program evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and

effectiveness of initiatives.

b. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve program delivery and outcomes.



QUALIFICATIONS

Proven leadership experience in program management within the non-profit sector.

Strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with rare diseases and their families.

Strong project management skills with track record of successful program implementation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

Experience in strategic planning, program development, and fundraising.

 Familiarity with cultural and socio-economic diversity of the Asia Pacific region.

 Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Non-profit Management, Public

Administration, Social Work)



REMUNERATION

SGD5,500 - 6,500
