Job description for Secretariat (administrative support)

APARDO is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant on a freelance contract. This position involves an estimated 10 hours/week, working remotely. Candidate to fulfill these duties:

  • Organising and servicing meetings

  • Preparing and collating reports

  • Managing databases

  • Helping organize and following up on logistics of event organisation (online and face-to-face)

  • Providing accounting support

  • Liaison with industry partners and sponsors

  • Supporting creation of content for website, social media, and other public relations

 

Applicants are expected to have an excellent command of English and be proficient in common office software (eg- Microsoft Office); organisation skills, attention to detail, and proactivity are equally desirable.

The compensation is SGD 25/hour or around SGD 1,000/month. This is a permanent position, reporting to the elected president of APARDO. Shortlisted candidate will undergo a trial period of four weeks.
